A Few Good Databases for Membership Organizations

"Membership organizations can have a complex set of database needs, and there’s an equally complex market of tools that have been designed to meet them. Idealware asked eight nonprofit technology professionals what membership databases they would recommend."

This article reviews some of the software used to handle membership and donations. If you are in a private school, this type of software should be of great interest to you. While it is possible to much of this on your own via Access, I would recommend using a third-party system any time you deal with money -- especially if an audit is possible.

This article comes from TechSoup. One of my favorite organizations. More information on them later.
